A classic Battleship game in your browser
Play Battleship online against the computer or choose two-player pass-and-play for a match with a friend. Search the 10×10 ocean grid to find the opposing fleet while your opponent fires back. A hit reveals part of a ship; sink the entire fleet to win.
How to play Battleship
- Choose Play computer or Two players. Each player’s five ships are placed randomly at the start of the game.
- Fire at a coordinate on the enemy grid by selecting an empty square.
- A red hit marker means you struck a ship. A pale marker means the shot missed.
- Keep track of hits and use nearby squares to locate the rest of a ship. The game announces when a ship sinks.
- Sink the Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, and Destroyer before your opponent sinks your fleet.
In two-player mode, the board is hidden between turns while the device is passed to the next player. Your fleet, shots, game mode, and progress are saved in this browser. Start a new game for fresh random fleets.
