Play Field Five

Five clues, one world

Field Five is a daily sports geography game. Read five clues about real sports venues, click or tap each location on the map, and score points for every close call. Everyone gets the same five clues in the same order for the UTC round date.

How to play

  1. Read the clue and use the map’s pan and zoom controls to find the place.
  2. Click or tap to drop a pin, then lock in your guess.
  3. Compare your marker with the correct location, distance, and points earned.
  4. Complete all five locations to see your score out of 5,000, review the map, and share your result.

The closer the guess, the higher the score. Points interpolate smoothly from 1,000 for a guess within 10 km to zero beyond 2,000 km.

Your progress and daily rounds

Your submitted guesses are saved locally in this browser so you can finish later. A new round becomes available at midnight UTC. Field Five runs as a static app and does not require an account or store personal information on a server.

Daily questions and venue coordinates have source links in the game. The tile map includes OpenStreetMap attribution; map tiles may be temporarily unavailable, but the map still accepts guesses.
