A simple rule with a tricky solution

Lights Out is a classic electronic logic puzzle. The board starts with a pattern of lit and unlit cells. Every move toggles the selected cell and its direct neighbors. The goal is to turn every light off.

Choose a 4×4, 5×5, or 6×6 board for a new challenge. Every puzzle is created from a solved board by a series of valid moves, so each one has a solution.

How to play

  1. Click or tap any light.
  2. The selected cell and the cells directly above, below, left, and right switch state.
  3. Diagonal cells stay the same.
  4. Turn off every light to solve the puzzle.

Try to solve the board in fewer moves. The move counter tracks your progress for the current puzzle.
