A classic Reversi game in your browser

Play Reversi online against the computer or choose two-player mode for a match with a friend. Also known as Othello, Reversi is an easy-to-learn strategy game: surround your opponent’s discs to flip them, control valuable squares, and finish with the most discs.

How to play Reversi

1. Choose Play computer to challenge the computer, or Two players to share the board. Black moves first.
2. Select an empty square marked as a legal move. Your disc must bracket one or more opposing discs in a straight line.
3. The bracketed discs flip to your color. A move can flip discs horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
4. If you have no legal move, you must pass and wait for your opponent’s turn.
5. The game ends when neither player can move. The player with the most discs wins.
